Win a Chance to Become a Character in The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct

Developer Terminal Reality and publisher Activision have announced a new contest for their upcoming game The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. The Walking Dead "Dead Giveaway" will allow fans to play along in an eight-week contest to win a gruesome role in the upcoming game The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. While watching new episodes of the show every Sunday night at 9pm EST on AMC, fans will get special clues that will be entered at www.amcdead.com, and Terminal Reality will use photos of the winners' facial features to create characters in the game that will be hidden throughout and will each be found in a different stage of the game to learn more about the npc. For more information and full contest rules, visit the official AMC website.

Developed by Terminal Reality, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is a do-whatever-you-need-to-survive first-person action game that brings the deep, character-driven world of AMC’s Emmy Award-winning TV series onto console gaming systems and the PC in a frightening, new way. The game puts players in the role of the mysterious, crossbow-wielding survivor Daryl Dixon, alongside his overbearing brother Merle, on a haunting, unforgiving quest across the Georgia countryside to reach the supposed safety of Atlanta.

Players will need to tread carefully throughout this grim adventure, as resources are scarce and hope even scarcer. From scrounging for food, water and ammunition to surviving encounters with the undead and the living, gamers will have to use their wits to stay alive in this terrifying, post-apocalyptic world. Do you risk using stealth to go in close for a quiet kill, attack from a distance and hazard attracting a swarm of walkers, or avoid the battle and live to fight another day? Helping survivors can bring benefits – but can you afford to trust everyone you meet? Every path, every action, every choice has a consequence. At the end of the world, no place is truly safe.

For more information on the game, check out the official The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct website.
