Defiance Gets New Castithan Charge DLC Pack

Players of Trion's open world shooter Defiance can now download the Castithan Charge Pack for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The new DLC will allow fans to play as the alien Castithan species, participate in a new battle arena game and much more.




 Players who purchase the Castithan Charge Pack will receive access to the following:

  • Play as the alien Castithan Species ­ create a new character or change your existing one
  • New Battle Arena Game Mode ­ an instanced single player ³horde mode²-style game that opens up a new story mission line, Castithan Charge Blade weapon and in-game item
  • Unique version of the Raptor ­ a new four passenger truck designed to help small groups of arkhunters to quickly traverse the terraformed Bay Area
  • Unique Castithan outfit
  • New Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system Achievements and Trophies

The Castithan Charge Pack is available on PlayStation 3 and Windows PC for $9.99 or on Xbox 360 for 800 Microsoft Points.

Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun. The Jackson County Fair had over a dozen rides for all age groups.
