From the Press Release
Hot on the heels of the news that Terraria has achieved an incredible 3 million PC sales, 505 Games and Re-Logic are excited to announce a title update coming to console players and that multiplayer has arrived for Terraria on mobile platforms.

iOS and Android Terraria fans will now be able to play alongside -- or against -- other mobile players across the living room. They can adventure together or duel each other in player vs. player combat, with Wi-Fi multiplayer supporting up to four players. This update also includes various code fixes along with the ability to directly drop items into the world from the inventory bar.

This week also sees the launch of a patch for the PlayStation 3 version and a free title update for the Xbox 360 version giving console gamers a glimpse of the exciting new content from Re-Logic's full Terraria 1.2 update -- full details here: http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/terraria-1-2-is-now-out.106803/.

Terrarians on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 can now enjoy over a dozen new items and recipes -- including two completely new armor sets, additional light sources and building blocks -- plus more than twenty new monsters, including eight new zombie enemies and six fearsome new demon eye variants. The title update also addresses performance improvements from the original console release -- full list available here http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/xbox-360-and-ps3-update-available-november-5th.119726/.

Terraria will be coming to Windows Phone 8 soon with the full 1.2 update arriving on consoles early next year.

Terraria is available at retail on Xbox360 and PS3 as well as on XBLA, PSN, the Apple App Store, Android Marketplace, Amazon Appstore for Android, Steam and other PC digital distribution platforms. It is due for release on Windows Phone in the coming weeks https://www.facebook.com/TerrariaOfficial or https://twitter.com/Terraria_Logic.
