DragonVale Gets Legendary Nest Dragon With The Release of GAIA

Backflip Studios reveals that GAIA is now now available in DragonVale. Read on.

Backflip Studios announces the release of GAIA, the Legendary Nest Dragon now available in the preeminent mobile game DragonVale. Players of the game have access to more than 270 dragons and the arrival of this powerful new dragon marks just the second time a “Legendary” dragon will be available for players. These legendary dragons are truly unique, standing out from the rest of the park thanks to their more detailed designs and special abilities.

Available only to players who have reached level 30 or higher in DragonVale, GAIA possesses unique magical powers that dragon enthusiasts will find invaluable. Once summoned, she is able to grant users the power to instantly hatch an egg - something that’s never been possible in the game before. Beginning on April 13th, players will be able to begin building “Gaia’s Perch,” the legendary nursery required to summon GAIA to their parks. To complete this process, players must send their dragons on quests and compete in races to collect the artifact pieces and rewards necessary to build their nursery.

“Long-time fans of the game who are familiar with Kairos will be really excited to get Gaia in their parks.” said Bryan Mashinter, DragonVale Game Director.

“Whether they’ve been playing for years or have just started to build their islands in the sky, we’re always striving to innovate and offer players new ways to engage with the world of DragonVale,” said Julian Farrior, CEO of Backflip Studios. “Gaia’s arrival gives our players the chance to do things in the game they’ve never been able to do before. We believe they will love her design, her special abilities and the fun quest they need to complete to summon her into their parks.”
