Neverwinter (Video Game Review)

Perfect World Entertainment is releasing Neverwinter for PS4 on July 19th.

Gamers can now make their way through the Dungeons & Dragons’ Forgotten Realms on PS4. BioGamer Girl was able to journey through the game early with the Onyx Head Start Pack that included unique items like the Fragile Onyx Weapon Pack, Onyx Keyring with 20 enchanted keys, Adventurer’s Helper Pack, Graycloak’s Legacy weapon, Onyx Horse mount, and “The Onyx Adorned” title. The Onyx Head Start Pack is available to purchase for $19.99 and allows players to jump into the game early before the official launch date of July 19th.

Neverwinter is a free massively-multiplayer online RPG that brings all of the fun that gamers enjoyed on the PC to PS4. If you played the game on PC, then you should know about what to expect for Neverwinter on PS4. The game looks and plays beautifully on consoles with the optional microtransactions for those wanting to speed up gameplay. However, gamers can play as one of the eight classes across the nine expansions for free without the use of any microtransactions.

Neverwinter is a game that takes place in the Dungeons & Dragons universe that manages to focus more on action-packed combat than the turn-based style that many associate with D&D titles.

With any MMORPG, gamers are able to customize their character before heading into the massive online world. You can still play Neverwinter on PS4 even without a PlayStation Plus account and features very engaging gameplay for a MMO on consoles. The fact that players have over three years worth of content from the start for completely free is only one of the many reasons to check out Neverwinter on PS4. Other reasons include the incredible in-game achievements that includes a Platinum trophy--adding a ton of replayability to the game.

Neverwinter features the same immersive and diverse gameplay that fans loved on PC, and the controls have been reconfigured for consoles perfectly. The controls on PS4 are responsive and straightforward making it that much easier to jump into the game. The game runs on a proprietary graphics engine with a solid framerate that tends to stand up no matter how intense the action gets.

In the end, Neverwinter is a good game on PS4 and plays brilliantly with its colorful visuals and action-packed gameplay. If you are a diehard MMORPG fan, then you will definitely want to pick up Neverwinter for free on PS4 for hours of gameplay this summer. To learn more, visit the official Neverwinter website.

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...

Tucked along Main Street, this little diner doesn’t just serve food—it serves nostalgia. Walking in, you’re greeted with that small-town charm you just can’t fake.
