Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise (Video Game Review)

Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is the newest title from 505 Games, and the new downloadable entry will continue the Naughty Bear series with plenty of new features and much larger world to explore. In the game, the title character returns on another mission to kill the other bears who were so cruel to not invite Naughty Bear along on their vacation. Maybe Rudolph could take notes from Naughty Bear in the game, because rather than pouting and running off to tell on the other reindeer, Naughty Bear looks to take revenge on his fellow teddies with a homicidal twist in these teddy bear games! Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is a game well worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of the first game.

Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise introduces plenty of new ways to kill the other bears in the game, and not only will you have plenty of new weapons and environmental objects at your disposal, but you can beef up Naughty Bear with plenty of armor, accessories and skill upgrades by finding and unlocking these throughout the game. Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise rewards you for pulling off the best kills possible, and of course, you'll want to pull off great kills just for your own pleasure as well. Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise has plenty of RPG elements added to the game, and gamers will reap the rewards of this great new approach to the series.

Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is a massive game when compared to the original title. The game features a staggering amount of ground to cover across the game's 11 unique locations spread around the island paradise, and with over 30 bears who need to be punished, you'll spend plenty of time in the new title before completing the game. While the game's graphics haven't been improved much and the game lacks the multiplayer aspects from the previous entry, Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is a better game overall and the game's massive closet full of costumes will have you customizing your character at your whim, and the feature couldn't have come at a better time with Halloween right around the corner.

If you are a fan of the original Naughty Bear, don't hesitate to pick up Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise. The new release is superior to the classic in numerous ways, so much so that even those who didn't enjoy the original can try out the new game and possibly have a change of heart. With plenty of great new features, a larger world that feels more alive than ever before, Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is a great new game that gamers everywhere should pick up. Stabbing teddy bears has never been so much fun, and if you disagree with that statement, you're probably in prison, so you wouldn't have access to the game anyhow.

Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is now available for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade. Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is rated E by the ESRB. For more information on the game, check out the official Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise website.

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
