You Don't Know Jack (Video Game Review)

You Don't Know Jack is a game show themed video game series that dates all the way back to its initial release in 1995. The series has been featured across numerous platforms over the years, and the game recently won best social game at the 2012 Video Game Awards. Now, developer Jellyvision Games and publisher Berkeley Systems have brought the hit title to iPad and iPhone with new features for the release including more ads, achievements, categories, questions and online multiplayer for up to 6 players, and it makes a great game to play over the holiday break if Santa didn't bring you the games you was wanting for Christmas.

You Don't Know Jack
is a tricky trivia game that is equal parts pop culture knowledge, humor and deceiving questions. Host Cookie Masterson returns in the new title to provide hilarious commentary and set the mood for the funniest game show you've ever seen. The humor of the game is smart and discrete so that you can play with your family or friends and still have a good time. Part of the difficulty of You Don't Know Jack lies in the wording of the questions rather than actually knowing an answer to the question. Most people who will play the game can tell you the name of the entire Twilight series, but less will correctly tell you which also doubles as a naturally occurring event in nature when the pressure to answer quickly for maximum points is on the line. It's the fun nature of the game that makes the series one of the most loved of all-time and a perfect reason to try out the game for free today.

There are a variety of categories for questions in You Don't Know Jack including normal question and answer format, lightning rounds, this or that answers and more. Each category offers up a different challenge, and the iOS release comes packed with more categories and questions than ever before. The game is also easily accessible, since it can be played across multiple platforms with friends including special connectivity to Facebook. Your friends can join in on the fun, or you will be matched with up to five other players from around the world. A great presentation culminates with great controls that make the game easy for experienced gamers and casual gamers to enjoy alike and lag free servers that didn't see any bugs during our testing session. You Don't Know Jack is a highly entertaining game that deserves your attention.

If you haven't tried You Don't Know Jack yet, there's never been a better time to join in on the fun. Not only can the game be played for free, but a special holiday episode of the game is available to play right now with fun questions for the season. The game is updated constantly, so even if you miss out on this event, you are sure to find fun new episodes to play. Challenging your friends is fun, but You Don't Know Jack is a blast when playing with anyone thanks to simplistic matchmaking and the numerous achievements that are ready to be earned. Have a laugh with You Don't Know Jack on iOS today!

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...

Step Back in Time at Ole Towne Café in Ardmore

If you’ve ever wished you could step into your grandma’s kitchen and smell fresh biscuits baking while bacon sizzles in the skillet, Ole Towne Café in Ardmore, Alabama, is the next best thing. Tucked along Main Street, this little diner doesn’t just serve food—it serves nostalgia. Walking in, you’re greeted with that small-town charm you just can’t fake. The walls are lined with country décor, the coffee flows like a friendly neighbor’s gossip, and everyone seems to know everyone else. Even if you’re new in town, you’ll feel like family after your first cup of coffee. The menu is straight out of a Southern comfort cookbook. The catfish plates are fried to crispy perfection, the hamburger steaks come smothered in gravy that tastes like Sunday supper, and the breakfast plates are legendary—big fluffy pancakes, biscuits as big as your hand, and hash browns that come golden and crispy. And let’s not forget dessert. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, save room for the pies. Ole Towne Café d...
