The first thing you will notice about Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded is the beautifully enhanced and colorful graphics which add a great deal of pizzazz to an already fun title. There is only a couple hours worth of gameplay in Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded, but every hour is made of pure gold, and a throwback to some of your favorite titles in the series. The Leisure Suit Larry has released nine games over a 25 year time period, alternatively the game's insane humor is one reason why fans backed the latest release on KickStarter, and made it a reality.

Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded has been updated in a ton of new ways which not only include its graphics, but also an amazing new soundtrack, superb voice acting and immersive gameplay like never before. The story hasn't changed much, and we find that Larry is in the city of Lost Wages trying to find a little love. One new update is that you will actually meet a new love interest as you near the end of the game. The fictionalized town of Lost Wages is a clever pun of everything that Las Vegas stands for. Larry may be up for sleeping with anything that walks and usually gambles away every cent he has, but you have to admit that this little guy has a lot of gusto.

the animations aren't as good as they could be but this was counteracted with some fun sound effects. Fans of the series will love the updated cartoon look and there are tons of new places to explore. Larry can head over to the casino buffet or even visit the aquarium since you never know were you might get lucky. The best aspect of the series is watching Larry try to score with women that are out of his league and fails miserably. Players will interact with five gorgeously drawn women and then try to get in their pants through a wide array of humorous puzzles. We have our original four women which were Fawn, Eve, Faith and the hooker. And then we have a new Asian love interest called Jasmine that was voted on by the KickStarter backers.

While many parts of the game have remained the same with just a small amount of tweaking--there are still many additions were puzzles have been completely redone. What does this mean? Well you might not be able to use your old walkthrough to get through this one and will have to figure out some things for yourself. Puzzles take a lot more time than they use to and alternatively make a lot more sense. Players may enjoy the fact that there is a lot less typing this time around unlike earlier versions which was replaced with a point-and-click alternative. If you want to investigate or look at something then you just click it! However, make sure you don't click on the right side too far or you will minimize your game, which can be a tad bit annoying for a point-and-click title.
Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded doesn't do anything revolutionary in a society were gamers have options like Saints Row or the Grand Theft Auto franchises. AI Lowe and Josh Mandel helped mold many young gamers into the perverse loving people they are today and nothing can compare to that. These two Sierra designers helped shape the Leisure Suit Larry franchise with its crude humor, and I frankly enjoyed this nostalgic trip back to the '80s. Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded is not a perfect game by any means with its animation problems and small interface issues, but delivers enough entertainment that it is well worth the $20 price tag. You get around four hours of entertainment and that is cheaper than going to see a movie today! If you have been waiting for a more streamlined and even funnier Leisure Suit Larry title with enhanced graphics and immersive puzzles for an overall amazing point-and-click adventure then pick up Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded today!
