From the Press Release
Spicy Horse Games announced that closed beta signups for its upcoming title The Gate--formerly Hell Invaders--are now underway. PC and Mac players around the world are invited to sign up and battle devils and demons to determine the King of the Underworld via a unique blend of card collecting and real time strategy.

Conquering the abyss will require guts and guile, but there are some things that help along the way:

  • Collect the most diabolical team of Hell's finest monsters and defeat your rivals, both demonic and human
  • Equip your team with the most powerful skills and spells
  • Level each team member by sacrificing other, weaker team members along the way
  • Trade with other players to build your team
  • Work with other players to fight through numerous arenas and big, bad Bosses too powerful for one would-be king alone
  • Strategically and tactically manage your team as they fight through Hell.

The first 10,000 players to sign up will enter the initial round of testing and get a first look at the awesome new game from the makers of Alice: Madness Returns and Akaneiro: Demon Hunters.

Letter Lost drops you into the Kharnym Isle Post Office as its sole employee, tasked with the deceptively simple work of stamping, sorting, and dispatching the island’s mail. On the surface it’s a cozy workplace sim; polite locals, daily pay, and mandatory room and board that removes the hassle of commuting, but the office’s cheery routine is threaded with odd rules and quiet contradictions that quickly make the ordinary feel off‑kilter. What begins as a satisfying loop of weighing parcels and matching stamps soon becomes a game of attention: letters hide hints, patrons’ small talk slips into unsettling confessions, and management’s insistence that you never leave the premises reads less like policy and more like a warning. The demo covers your first four days on the job, teaching the systems while nudging you toward choices, obey protocol and keep the peace, or pry at the seams and uncover the post office’s darker purpose. Either way, those first shifts are a careful, uncanny invitat...
