Grand Theft Auto V Ranks #1 On Raptr's Most Played Games of September 2013

Raptr has announced the Most Played Games of September 2013 with Grand Theft Auto V (review here) taking over the board. Read on to learn more.

Grand Theft Auto V didn’t launch until mid-September, but Raptr members still managed to log more than three times as many hours in Los Santos as the next 360 game on the charts, Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Those numbers got a boost again with the launch of GTA5’s online component in early October, despite some severe technical issues, and so far the game seems like a lock to retain the top spot in October’s rankings.

Other September highlights include:
  • League of Legends is back in the number 2 spot, surpassing DOTA 2
  • Final Fantasy XIV Online tops World of Warcraft for the first time
  • Cookie Clicker debuted at the number 10 spot, dethroning Candy Crush Saga as gamers' go-to guilty pleasure
