DIGIMON All-Star Rumble (Video Game Review)

Let's get ready to Digi-Rumble with the release of Bandai Namco Games latest release, DIGIMON All-Star Rumble, for Xbox 360 and PS3. The new fighting game features beautiful 3D environments that really pack a punch in the animation and visuals department. Are you ready to start your adventure and see what BioGamer Girl thought of DIGIMON All-Star Rumble? Then read on!

The biggest highlight of DIGIMON All-Star Rumble is its all-star cast of some of your favorite characters from the Digimon universe. The world has experienced a lasting peace that seems to be a little too quiet for some. Of course, in all good things, our characters find themselves bored with their perfect world and set out to Digivolve in the new Digimon Evolution Tournament where they will see who is the most powerful of all. Your action-packed journey starts here with only intense fighting sequences lying ahead. Bye, Bye Peace!

DIGIMON All-Star Rumble features 12 of your favorite characters from classics like Digimon Fusion and Digimon Adventure with the chance to digivolve to unlock advanced versions. Of course, no Digiadventure would be complete without cards, and DIGIMON All-Star Rumble will give players the chance to collect Digicards to strengthen their characters in battle. Best of all, players will battle across ten unique battle arenas that have been pulled straight out of the animated series!

It has been a long time since Digimon fans have got excited for Digivolving and Bandai Namco Games has managed to bring back this animated masterpiece on current-gen consoles with a brightly colorful world that is reminiscent of everything you loved about the series. Each and every character in DIGIMON All-Star Rumble has their own fighting style and unique moves to show off while battling your way to the top of the Digi-Rankings. The new releases manages to offer up easy, pick-up-and-play gameplay that anyone in the family can enjoy in this new story that is packed full of action-packed fun!

DIGIMON All-Star Rumble features a slower-based combat than usual for fighting games and requires more accurate control movements in order to carry out moves which could be annoying to some players. However, DIGIMON All-Star Rumble, has managed to create a simpler, more engaged fighting experience that will allow a variety of players from all age groups to learn the moves and is geared more toward family-friendly gaming than hardcore. Gamers can strengthen their characters by equipping specialized Digicards which take gameplay to an all new level since this will not only increase your abilities but can also increase your luck for damaging your opponent during battle. Digicards can be collected throughout the game's story mode or purchased from the Collector's Menu.

The story mode of DIGIMON All-Star Rumble is very entertaining and allows the player to choose from Agumon, Gabumon, Shoutmon and Dorulumon in the beginning with the ability to unlock more as they play. Gamers will participate in stages inspired by the animated TV show in an entirely new story that centers around the new tournament and naming the ultimate Digimon champion. The visuals, sound and gameplay are decent enough for this type of game and the engaging storyline is one that any Digimon fan could appreciate.

In the end, DIGIMON All-Star Rumble is a good game that suffers from the occasional visual or technical hiccup. DIGIMON All-Star Rumble is geared toward the casual gamer who enjoys a good party game and the die-hard Digimon fan who has been waiting for a brand-new experience to digivolve on current-gen consoles! DIGIMON All-Star Rumble is well-worth the purchase price and will give fans an exciting new adventure in becoming the next champion in the Digimon Evolution Tournament.

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
