MotoGP 14 starts off with some great tunes to pull you into the game world before you ever press the "Start" button. Once players boot up the menu screen they will see several options for gameplay that includes the following for Single Player Mode: Instant Race, Grand Prix, Championship, MotoGP Career, Real Events 2013, Challenge the Champions, Time Attack, or Safety Car Mode. If you would like to enjoy the title with friends then step into the adventure via Xbox Live or via Split Screen. All of your customization options can be found under "My GP" which lets you change details for your rider that includes their riding license, gear and style. The option to reset your career and look at tutorials, multimedia and statistics can also be found under this option.
Let's jump into the game now and enjoy everything that MotoGP 14 has to offer. If you choose instant race, then you can shuffle the board, and then start racing immediately to get a taste of what MotoGP 14 has to offer. In the race you will overtake several hotspots found throughout the various zones on the map. While users wait for each game to start, a fun and informative loading screen pops up that gives you facts about the different circuits. Before you ever start to race, players start out in an interactive zone that allows them to look at their competition's stats with on-board cameras, and so forth. You can even get advice straight from an engineer before starting your next race. This helps gamers mentally prepare for the race and plan their strategic moves carefully based on their current competition and racing track.
MotoGP 14 contains some decent visuals and sound for a game of this nature but the controls can be a bit hard to master at first. While gamers figure out the best control figuration for their gameplay styles then you may experience a few scrapes and bruises until you master not only the controls but the track. Every track will be different in MotoGP 14 and if it is "Clear" then that will be indicated in the upper right hand corner of your game. The player's Lap Time and Position are also displayed onscreen. If you can't figure out were you are making mistakes then you can press LT and RT to rewind or forward your game to fix mistakes and continue with the race. Once you are ready to begin Career Mode, then you can start to prepare for becoming the MotoGP World Champion which will allow you to manage sponsors, upgrade your bike and even interact with your fans and press.

MotoGP 14 offers up enough content to keep players entertained for hours on end with the extreme amount of content available during the game. The sound has been greatly improved from previous games and sounds more realistic than ever before. A good amount of detail has went into making the lighting and shading for slightly better visuals than past releases. As players get better and improve their skills, they can join better races which are higher in difficulty level with more riders while unlocking new content along the way. The game includes some real life videos of the areas that the various circuits are located in before beginning each race which provides more immersive gameplay for the rider.
In the end, MotoGP 14 is a good game that offers plenty of content to keep riders racing for hours on end. While the visuals and audio made not be the most impressive on current and next-gen consoles--they are decent and slightly improved over past releases. MotoGP 14 allows fans to play with a friend in two player local multiplayer and up to 12 players online to enjoy the various content that the game has to offer. If you have been looking for a fun and addictive racing game then look no further than MotoGP 14!
