Three Special Guest Characters Revealed for Project X Zone 2 Before February 16 Release

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced three special guest characters for Project X Zone 2 set to arrive on February 16, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. today announced three special guest characters for their upcoming game Project X Zone 2 from popular Nintendo titles; Fire Emblem Awakening and Xenoblade Chronicles. The new Nintendo characters join the ever expanding roster of characters from fan-favorite franchises from CAPCOM, SEGA and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment to create one of the largest crossover strategy games ever conceived. Project X Zone 2 will be available on February 16, 2016 across North America and South America exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS system.


As players progress through Project X Zone 2’s story they will be able to meet up and play as both Chrom and the mysterious Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening, as well as Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles. Along with these very special Nintendo guest characters, Project X Zone 2 will also feature KOS-MOS from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment’s Xenosaga series.

Developed by MONOLITH SOFTWARE INC, Project X Zone 2 gives gamers the opportunity to play as their favorite characters from a multitude of franchises including the “Resident Evil” series, “Devil May Cry” series, and “Megaman X” series from CAPCOM; the YAKUZA: Dead Souls, “Sakura Wars” series, and “Virtua Fighter” series from SEGA; as well as the “TEKKEN” series, TALES OF VESPERIA, and “.hack//” series from BANDAI NAMCO with many others to be revealed. Players will form teams of characters hailing from these classic series’ and engage enemies through strategic turn-based battles.
