Cartoon Network Games’ Steven Universe: Save the Light is the sequel to the mobile game, Attack the Light. Steven Universe: Save the Light is developed and written in collaboration with creator Rebecca Sugar and Grumpyface Studios.

Steven Universe: Save the Light features an immersive storyline where an original Gem named Hessonite (voiced by Christine Baranski) comes to Earth to make the Prism into a mighty weapon. Steven and the crew then start an incredible journey to try and stop her. Save the Light has gamers meeting new and returning characters and foes on their epic quest through beautifully drawn 3D environments from well-known spots in the series like Strawberry Battlefield and Beach City.

Steven Universe: Save the Light has an ton of updated features such as an updated battle system with the ability to choose what character leads the team from the selection screen. There are eight playable characters with more fusions in Save the Light than ever before. The game also has a stronger emphasis this time around on puzzle solving and exploration. There is a ton of stuff to do in the game with intriguing side quests, rewards, perks and a fun crafting system.

All-in-all, Steven Universe: Save the Light is an fun game that contains an intriguing storyline and immersive gamplay to keep you playing for hours on end. If you are a fan of the TV series, then Steven Universe: Save the Light is definitely worth picking up. Steven Universe: Save the Light is rated E10+ (Everyone 10 and Up) by the ESRB and PEGI 7.

Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun. The Jackson County Fair had over a dozen rides for all age groups.
