NBA 2K19 Review (Xbox One)

2K Sports has released NBA 2K19 Standard and 20th Anniversary Editions. Read on.

NBA 2K19 is a new level of sports simulation for consoles and PC featuring the very best athletes and teams from the NBA. The 20th Anniversary Edition of the game celebrates 20 years of the franchise by redefining what sports are with great graphics and gameplay.

NBA 2K19 has some great features this year that includes the ability to take control with Takeover. This feature allows gamers to unlock special skills and abilities to fully utilize their MyPlayer basketball potential. Takeover also gives you full power of your squad taking the game to all new heights with its innovative new gameplay. You will get the chance to take control of the neighborhood as you play at the Under Armour Cages and show off your skills during live events. Rather you are playing day or night, hitting up the Jordan Rec Center or playing 3 on 3, NBA 2K19 has something for everyone.

The new release introduces a new Unlimited mode, which gives gamers the ability to pick five cards from their deck and compete against others online. However, with every new feature, NBA 2K19 brings back the content that the series is known for like an original career story mode, a talented cast of characters and more. Are you ready to jump into the game's immersive narrative and make your way from China to the G League and finally to the NBA? We definitely are!

One of the things we enjoyed most about NBA 2K19 was the fact that the developers have really strived for a high degree of realism this year. The game has redefined its core elements, including MyCareer, making it more balanced and fun. The game manages to adapt to your playstyle and doesn't punish you for how you choose to play the game. Players won't have to grind nonstop to become an average player allowing you to move throughout the game much quicker. While NBA 2K19 seems similar to NBA 2K18, there has been a lot of improvement and redefinement to make it even more believable and immersive this year.

All-in-all, NBA 2K19 does a great job of storytelling with its beautifully rendered animations and writing. Takeover manages to make the game more immersive than ever with realistic gameplay unlike anything released so far in the franchise. NBA 2K19 is a solid and rewarding experience that gives players a new basketball simulation experience that keeps you playing for hours on end. To learn more, visit the official NBA 2K19 website.
