Survival Quiz City Opens Up Multiplayer Today

Bandai Namco Studios has announced that multiplayer will come to Survival Quiz City today.

Survival Quiz CITY, the platformer quiz battle royale from developer GYAAR Studios of BANDAI NAMCO Studios and publisher Phoenixx, opens the gates to multiplayer mayhem today on Steam for Windows PC on March 4th, and streaming via GeForce NOW shortly after. Everyone can test their quiz prowess fun free via the Visitor’s Pass version available today on Steam.

Join a chaotic multiplayer party where 30 contestants test their brains and brawn. Start by replying correctly and quickly to a trivia question to access wacky weaponry like the Swordfish Machine Gun or Ribbit Riffle. Then try to tag those who answered wrong or too slowly as they run and climb through a parkour-of-shame obstacle course.

Those unfortunate entrants must collect coins while running through the obstacle course as the clock ticks down. Take risks to earn high-value coins while conserving stamina and avoiding fire from the winners, who earn coins for each player hit! Any players still in the game can then spend winnings between rounds on upgrades like improved speed, faster climbing, or better weaponry.

Be the last contestant standing in Survival mode or the richest player across multiple rounds in Bounty Hunter matches. Compete against through rank-based quick matchmaking, or host your own custom games for friends or tournaments, with the option to create custom quiz questions and answers. Anyone can play for free with the Visitor’s Pass version, but players will need to buy the full version in order to create custom games, quizzes, use quick matchmaking, and earn cosmetic items.

“The Visitor’s Pass is core to our vision to open up Survival Quiz CITY to everyone,” said Yusuke Shigeta, Survival Quiz CITY Director, GYAAR Studios. “We’ve had many fun nights playing this game together while making it, and the Visitor’s Pass means that friends can come together and have their own ‘Quiz Night’ for free.”

Survival Quiz CITY is available now on Steam for Windows PC for $19.99 with a limited-time 10% launch discount, and the Visitor’s Pass version is available for free. Survival Quiz CITY and its Visitor’s Pass version are both coming to GeForce NOW shortly after launch. The soundtrack, Survival Quiz CITY: The Legendary Soundtrack to Lammy's Adventures, is also available for $14.99.
