Video Game Review: WWE 2K23 (Xbox One)


WWE 2K23 is the latest installment in the popular WWE video game franchise. Developed by 2K Sports and Visual Concepts, it features an extensive roster of wrestlers and legends from both the WWE and NXT rosters. The game includes a variety of game modes, including exhibition matches, tag team matches, and championship matches. Players can also create their own custom wrestlers using the game's extensive character creation tools. In addition to creating their own wrestlers, players can also customize their entrances, moves, and attributes to create the ultimate wrestling persona. To say that players have a lot of customization options would be an understatement. 

One of the most exciting new features in WWE 2K23 is the introduction of an immersive story mode that takes players through the highs and lows of a wrestling career. Players will start as a rookie wrestler and work their way up to becoming a champion. Along the way, they will compete in matches, cut promos, and interact with other wrestlers, all while navigating backstage politics and personal drama. The graphics in WWE 2K23 have also received a significant upgrade, with improved character models, lighting, and animations. The game looks and feels more realistic than ever, giving players the feeling that they are actually in the ring.


WWE 2K23's gameplay delivers an immersive wrestling experience which includes customizable wrestler creation, intricate move sets, and a variety of match types. Fans will see a ton of improvements and new features to the gameplay, such as updated graphics, more realistic physics, refined controls, and expanded match types. The game also includes several new match types to keep things fresh and exciting.

The game offers a variety of modes to choose from such as career, exhibition, and online modes. Along with story-driven gameplay, the game also features a more in-depth Career mode that allows players to control their character over time, build their reputation, and climb the ranks to become a WWE Hall-of-Famer. WWE 2K23 manages to deliver an enhanced and immersive wrestling experience for players. 

WWE 2K23 is a must-play game for fans of wrestling and WWE. With its extensive roster, immersive story mode, and stunning graphics, it is sure to be a hit with gamers of all ages.
