90 Days to a Healthier, Happier, Hotter YOU - Day Two: Exercise

The next step in improving your health and happiness requires adding a regular exercise routine to your daily schedule. Exercise can improve your overall mood while also decreasing feelings of anxiety and depression. You also burn calories during your daily activities such as sweeping, washing dishes and so forth. 

It is important to get your body moving for at least 30 minutes a day. How you choose to exercise is up to you. It could be simply going for a walk 30 minutes a day or making up your own exercises at home. The physical activity is great for your heart by helping pump more blood through the body aiding in better circulation and metabolism. 

The 3-H Plan involves adding 150 minutes of exercise weekly in five sessions of 30 minutes while in cooperating specific muscle groups (chest, back, legs, etc.) into your aerobic exercise.  The 3-H Plan only focuses on getting you moving while setting up a daily routine of exercise. If you want to take it a step further, then try the 90-Day Workout Challenge or the 90-Day Muscle Building Workout. There are tons of exercise apps you can download to help you get started and to keep track of your progress.
