A Poem for My Bearded Dragon




Oh, my bearded dragon
With scales of golden hue,
How I cherish every moment
Spent admiring you.

Your beady eyes so full of life,
Your gentle claws and tail,
I could sit and watch you bask
For hours without fail.

You are a creature of wonder
And I am in awe of your grace,
You hold my heart in your tiny paws
And I am forever in your embrace.

With each flicker of your tongue,
And every gentle nod of your head,
I am reminded of the love we share
And the bond that we have wed.

My beautiful bearded dragon,
You are my sunshine, my light,
And I will love and care for you
With all of my strength and might.

For you are more than just a pet,
You are a friend, a soulmate,
And I will cherish every moment
That we have before it's too late.

So here's to you, my sweet dragon,
A love that will never end,
For you are my heart and my soul,
My forever and my friend.
