Biscuit Belly Brings Comfort Food to Huntsville, Alabama

Power Brands Hospitality Group ("PBHG") in partnership with Biscuit Belly, a Kentucky-based "craft casual" brunch spot that offers warm hospitably and chef-driven gourmet biscuit sandwiches, is happy to announce the first Biscuit Belly restaurant opening in the Rocket City!

If you're looking for a place that serves up delicious southern comfort food with a modern twist, then look no further than Biscuit Belly in Huntsville, Alabama.

Biscuit Belly is a new hotspot for breakfast, brunch or lunch with a focus on scratch-made biscuits and the many delicious creations that can be crafted with them. With locations across several states in the US, this newest Biscuit Belly location offers a cozy atmosphere and a comforting menu that's perfect for anytime hunger hits.

The menu offers a wide range of dishes, all featuring Biscuit Belly's delicious, buttery biscuits. From classics like the Basic Biscuit, which comes with a buttermilk biscuit, cheddar, over easy egg, and sausage or bacon, to sandwiches like the Mama's Boy which includes a buttermilk fried chicken breast, roasted jalapeno pimento cheese, Pop's pickles, and fried green tomato served on a biscuit. The options for customization are endless.

“My husband and I visited Biscuit Belly in Louisville in 2021. We fell in love with the brand. It’s bright, fun, and the food is amazing. We decided that weekend that Biscuit Belly was what we wanted to bring home,” said Wendy Coates (Owner/Operator).

The taste of the Basic Biscuit was a delicious combination of savory and buttery flavors. The buttermilk adds a slight tanginess to the biscuit, which pairs perfectly with the rich and savory flavor of the bacon. When the soft and creamy yolk of the over easy egg is added to the mix, it creates a wonderful contrast in texture and taste that is truly satisfying. Overall, the combination of the savory bacon, tangy buttermilk biscuit, and creamy egg yolk create a delightful explosion of flavor in your mouth!

To wash it all down, customers can opt for Biscuit Belly's signature Sweet Tea or a refreshing mimosa or choose from a variety of coffee drinks or breakfast cocktails.
“Biscuit Belly is genuine, playful, and a little mischievous. We mix southern cooking with unexpected flavors to satisfy your belly while bringing genuine people together for good times and damn good biscuits!"
Overall, Biscuit Belly is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for comfort food done right in Huntsville. With its hearty portions, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service, it's no wonder why this local favorite has quickly become such a sensation.

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
