Nuketown 2025 Returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 — A Remastered Classic with New Tricks

One of the most iconic battlegrounds in Call of Duty history is back. Activision has officially unveiled Nuketown 2025 for Black Ops 7, bringing a polished, retro-futuristic remake of the fan-favorite Black Ops 2 map into the newest generation of Multiplayer combat.

The updated Nuketown 2025 keeps its unmistakable 1960s-meets-the-future aesthetic, but players will immediately notice several modern enhancements—most notably the shift from classic mannequins to animated robots, adding a fresh layer of personality and chaos to the environment.

A Timeless Deathmatch Playground, Upgraded

Long known for its tight lanes, predictable spawns, and instant action, Nuketown 2025 once again serves as a fast-paced arena perfect for close-quarters players, aggressive pushers, and anyone ready to run and gun.

According to the new Tac Map guide, the remaster maintains the map’s recognizable structure while refining its gameplay flow:

  • The iconic houses remain the prime power positions, with upper-window sightlines still dictating the pace of each match.
  • The Garage and back Yards offer quieter zones for players who prefer flanking, surprising enemies, or resetting spawns.
  • The northern side paths create rare long-distance engagement opportunities—ideal for snipers and LMG players seeking open angles.

Fresh Strategy Tips for Veterans and Newcomers

Alongside the map reveal, Treyarch has shared updated tactical advice tailored to Black Ops 7’s movement and weapon systems.

• Back It Up — Alpha (A)
Sometimes the smartest play is to pull back. Defending from behind the fences in either Yard can give players the advantage as opponents often focus only on the Houses and Garages.

• RC-XD Shortcut — Beta (B)
The classic RC-XD Scorestreak returns with a clever new route. Operators can drive the explosive drone through small fence holes on the north side, using a ramp that loops behind enemy lines. Equipping Infantry Sensors Overclock makes scouting this route even deadlier.

• Special Delivery — Gamma (Γ)
The moving truck in the Cul-De-Sac introduces a micro-arena perfect for Shotguns and SMGs. Its tight cover transforms the truck into a power point during objective modes, letting aggressive players control the capture area with well-timed ambushes.

A Legendary Map for a New Era

With its blend of nostalgia and modern design, Nuketown 2025 is poised to remain a staple of the Black Ops 7 multiplayer rotation. Whether you’re a long-time Nuketown veteran or stepping into its chaotic streets for the first time, the remaster offers fast, frantic battles filled with the map’s signature energy.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is available now, with Nuketown 2025 fully integrated into the Multiplayer experience. For updates, visit CallofDuty.com and follow @CallofDuty across social platforms.

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
