We have had an amazing journey in Telltale Games‘ The Walking Dead game series. The adventure doesn’t stop with the upcoming release of Episode 3: Long Road Ahead. Players once again enter a dramatic adventure full of choices that impact everything they have come to know. The story set out connecting with other characters who shared common goals and interests. As players progressed through the game they went from protecting Clementine and their secrets―all the way to choosing who starved or died.
In Episode 3: Long Road Ahead―players are forced to face the threat of a traitor, and the fact that someone is stealing supplies. All of the choices you have made this far are tested even more, and you start to second-guess what you once thought. Long Road Ahead is a turning point in Telltale Games‘ The Walking Dead, and takes players on a emotional roller-coaster unlike any in the series this far.
The episode shown me that I no longer shared goals with the rest of the group anymore, and I was once again back to where I started. All of the decisions and accomplishments of Episode 2 were out the window, and it was time for me to start over. The most important goal I had was to protect Clementine, and no one else in the group shared that goal. The game makes you realize that the main reason for existing in the game is to protect Clementine’s innocence. Without her then Lee almost has no reason to exist.
Episode 3: Long Road Ahead delivers a terrific gameplay experience and players once find that they are trying to reestablish their self. Telltale Games’ has continued the series with amazing graphics and a intense storyline that players will soon not forget. Fans will find that even after the game ends―their decisions will stay with them hours after the credits roll.
The Walking Dead will be available for PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade, PC, Mac and iOS. The Walking Dead is rated M by the ESRB for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence & Strong Language. For more information on the game, check out the official The Walking Dead website.
