Runaway: Twist of Fate Volume 2 continues the epic journey were the first one left off. The point-and-click adventure involves a ton of events in a short period of time. Our characters so far have managed to ruin an experiment, cheat on each other, vandalize others possessions and even defile a corpse. Runaway has a very interesting storyline and characters to say the least.
Runaway: Twist of Fate delves deep into a menacing adventure with an prevailing degree of humor and a slick presentation that feels like something out of an animated movie. Twist of Fate manages to present a more balanced gameplay experience with players stepping into the shoes of our characters Brian and Gina. A Twist of Fate delivers an entertaining experience despite its wonky dialogue, illogical puzzles and loose connections with the previous releases in the series. If you haven't played the other games, then don't fret, since Twist of Fate does give players a run-down from the last game and recaps everything leading up to Brian's trial.
Twist of Fate: Part 2 starts out after the trial of our character Brian Basco. Brian is sent to a lunatic asylum for evaluation and to await trial. The player assumes the role of Brian in the asylum and are tasked with helping him fake his own death. The intriguing plot and mystery of Twist of Fate is one of its strongest attributes alongside stunning visuals that manage to keep the game flowing smoothly.
The puzzles in Twist of Fate entail chatting with other characters and collecting items. There are times when players must have a particular conversation or make a specific discovery before they are able to gather certain items. These puzzles are integrated extremely well with the game's plot points. Gamers are tasked with putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together in order to fulfill the main objective which is to prove that Brian didn't commit the charges he is accused of while clearing his name in the process.
Runaway: A Twist of Fate--Volume 2 manages to keep the player absorbed in its enthralling storyline while delivering a tightly knit plot, stimulating puzzles and a overall fun experience despite its minor imperfections. All-in-all, Runaway: A Twist of Fate is a must own for any adventurer who enjoys the twists and turns of a good point-and-click venture.
Runaway: A Twist of Fate--Volume 2 is now available for iPad 2, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch for $4.99. Fans can also get Volume 1 at a 50% savings at the low price of $2.99 until Sunday night.
