Yesterday, developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision brought together journalists (and fans watching from home) from all over the world for the world premiere of the Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer component. The event featured all of the big names including Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg, Infinity Ward Executive Producer Mark Rubin and plenty of pro gamers that showed off their Call of Duty skills while battling alongside real US Marines in the first streamed Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer match.

The event revealed countless ideas that will be included in the upcoming release including new mobile support for Call of Duty: Ghosts that will allow players to manage Clans, customized characters, classes and more while on the go. Call of Duty: Ghosts was also revealed to be the first game in the series to feature female soldiers as part of the extensive customization options coming to the new release. In addition to plenty of new weapons, equipment and killstreaks, a new perk system was introduced with the most perks ever included in the game to truly change how players with customize their loadouts in Call of Duty: Ghosts. Call of Duty: Ghosts is now available for preorder for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and next generation consoles on November 5, 2013.
