BandFuse: Rock Legends Releases New Video With Mike Ness

BandFuse: Rock Legends will release on November 19 for Xbox 360 and PS3. Gamers can now check out a brand new trailer with Mike Ness. Read on.

For more than 30 years, Mike Ness’ band Social Distortion has explored the common ground between punk rock and American roots music. Today, Realta Entertainment is proud to reveal that Ness is the seventh legendary rocker featured as an in-game mentor for BandFuse: Rock Legends, the music video game where legendary rockers transform players into real-world guitarists, bassists and vocalists. Ness joins BandFuse: Rock Legend’s list of unrivaled rock legends. Other previously revealed musical luminaries include Slash, Bootsy Collins, George Lynch, Zakk Wylde, and Five Finger Death Punch.

Singer-songwriter, guitarist, and creative force behind the influential rock ‘n roll band Social Distortion, Mike Ness has brought roaring attitude and bar-brawling originality to the California punk scene since the late 1970s. Ness and Social Distortion deliver swagger and smoke to their audiences paired with a deep sense of lyrical and melodic melancholy, the kind that has elevated Ness’s songs into the ranks of those written by Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Bruce Springsteen.

Seamlessly connecting real guitars, basses and microphones to game consoles, BandFuse: Rock Legends empowers players to jam to a fully unlocked library of hit songs from rock to metal and punk to funk, featuring 55 massive genre-jumping songs from Slash, Maroon 5, Rush, The Strokes, Heart, Pearl Jam and more.

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
