The Sims 3 Heads Into the Future with Newest Expansion

The Sims 3 Into the Future is now available as an expansion for the hit title, The Sims 3. The new release can be purchased on Origin for $39.99 to take in-game characters to the futuristic setting of Oasis Landing, where plenty of new furniture, clothing and accessories are available for Sims characters with influences coming from anything between The Jetsons and The Hunger Games.

Players can enjoy the luxury of futuristic living by purchasing time traveling machines, wind carvers, dream pods, food synthesizers or even hiring a mechanical butler to help take care of cleaning, cooking and and other chores around the house. The game allows players to experience more than one type of future where everything may be happy and laidback, or the new world may more closely resemble that of a post-apocalyptic future. “Our fans have been asking to take their Sims to the future for quite some time and we’re delivering that all-new experience with the world of Oasis Landing in The Sims 3 Into the Future,” said Kari St. John, Senior Producer for The Sims 3 Into the Future. “Sims will eat, sleep, shower, and even WooHoo in new ways thanks to the advancements in future technology. With new creative tools like Create-A-Plumbot to customize unique Plumbots with traits of their very own and the ability to affect the outcome of the future based off the Sim’s present day actions, we can’t wait to see what kind of stories our fans will tell.”

The Sims 3 Into the Future is now available from Origin and can be purchased for $39.99. The Sims 3 Into the Future is rated T by the ESRB for Comic Mischief, Mild Violence & Sexual Themes. For more information on the game, check out the official The Sims 3 Into the Future website.

But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
