DotEmu, developer and publisher of modern remakes of classic retro games, today announced a significant update to Little Big Adventure, available now via iTunes, Google Play and the Amazon App Store. Called “as charming as it was before” by 148 Apps, this modern version of the highly acclaimed Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure includes an overhaul of the pathfinding system, mobile gaming controller support and much-requested gameplay enhancements.
Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure, created in 1994 for PC and the original PlayStation by video game design legend Frederick Raynal (Alone in the Dark), featured 32-bit, 3D isometric gameplay in an outer-space setting. The game’s hero, Twinsen, teams up with a group of rebels to defeat the evil Dr. FunFrock, save his girlfriend Zoe and rescue the planet. The modern version, renamed Little Big Adventure, includes all the original characters, music and gameplay beloved by fans, with enhancements and optimized controls unique to current mobile devices.
