From the Press Release
Let freedom ring! Free Lives’ retro side-scrolling shooter and irreplaceable cultural portrait of American patriotism, Broforce, is 33% off on Steam today through Independence Day weekend, and has been updated on Steam Early Access. Two new bros, revamped sound design and voiceover and a smattering of gameplay updates based on authentic BroFan feedback are now available.

Cherry Broling, the next female bro who hovers above the battlefield and unleashes hell from her assault rifle leg, and Colonel James Broddock*, who deals exclusively in grenades and whose passion for democracy burns even brighter than his beard, are now playable.

Bros will also be serenaded by the sweet voice of Finnish sound designer Joonas Turner (The Swapper, Nuclear Throne) who serves as the new Broforce announcer in the latest update. When a bro falls on the battlefield, he’s going to let you know in the most unmistakable of ways.

Additionally, through the beauty of democracy, new gameplay tweaks and bug fixes have been applied to Broforce to make the spread of freedom a smoother and more fulfilling experience for all. The full list of updates is available on the game’s Steam forum.

About Broforce
Developed by the devilishly handsome and charismatic Free Lives (www.freelives.net) Broforce brings the shock and awe as gamers across the globe take control of an under-funded, over-powered paramilitary organization dealing exclusively in excessive force. Bro out with up to four friends, locally and online, in non-stop, explosive run ‘n’ gun action and eliminate the terrorist forces that threaten our way of life. Adapt your tactics as you select bros from a massive roster of true 80’s and 90s action heroes, each with unique weapons and abilities. Set off incredible chain reactions of fire, napalm and limbs in the name of freedom. Then, as the dust settles, face off against each other in one of many competitive modes.

Broforce is now kicking ass on Steam Early Access at http://store.steampowered.com/app/274190/.
