Krosmaster Arena Now Free-to-play For PC, Mac and Linux

Leading trans-media entertainment group Ankama today announced the launch of Krosmaster Arena, the latest game inspired by its wildly successful World of Twelve universe from theDOFUS and WAKFU games. Krosmaster Arena fuses explosive animated battling with collectible 3D heroes for a captivating dose of tactical action either solo or against the world. With its carefully crafted and complete single player PVE campaign, alongside competitive online multiplayer, Krosmaster Arena is free-to-play and out today for PC, Mac and Linux via the Krosmaster website and PC and Linux via Steam. It’s time to hit… and hit HARD.

Krosmaster Arena has its origins as a physical board game inspired by the turn-based gameplay of hit titles DOFUS and WAKFU. The team at Ankamadecided to turn the game into a 3D experience to bring the engrossing gameplay and the heroes from the World of Twelve to life in the virtual world where time and place are no barrier to play. Krosmaster Arenaoffers a comprehensive and challenging solo PVE campaign mode, and explosiveonline PVP battles with players from all four corners of the globe.

Six beautifully designed environments and four gameplay modes will give players plenty of action to choose from, whether it’s the action-packed solo adventure, one-on-one match mode for challenging friends, or tournament mode to hone your skills and rise through the rankings. The fourth mode – dungeon – is coming soon.

Appearances can be deceiving. The diminutive heroes of Krosmaster Arena may look cute, but they pack one heck of a punch. The game features over 130 hero figurines to collect, each one loaded with its own devastating 3D attack to send opponents reeling. The heroes can be combined in countless ways to form elite teams and dominate the board. Players can even pick up physical figurines at selected retailers, enter the code, and add the hero to their virtual in-gameranks. Create your ultimate team of heroes and prepare to dominate the battlefield. No one will be spared your wrath!
