Looty Dragon Brings 50 Different Heroes To Android Devices

Yodo 1 and Taco Illuminati have released Looty Dragon on Google Play.

Looty Dungeon - an endless dungeon crawler with a low barrier for entry and a high threshold for pain, from publisher Yodo1 and developer Taco Illuminati - is now available on Google Play. Players guide one of more than 50 different heroes through gauntlets filled with deadly traps, dangerous monsters, spectacular wealth and fearsome bosses. Characters must quickly reach each room's exit before the floor collapses under their feet, ending the level.

New heroes can be unlocked at random by spending gold. Every class has their own stats and skills that can provide players with new strategies, such as the Amazon's ability to attack through enemies and hit more than one at the same time, or the King using his throne to shield his backside. Several heroes are from other popular games like the chicken from Crossy Road or the runner from Canabalt.

Looty Dungeon takes the classic dungeon crawling formula and puts it in a fast-paced, one-tap package. Players control their hero's movements by swiping and tapping the screen to both move and attack, while holding it will use character-exclusive special abilities - such as blocking projectiles, firing arrows and using magic spells.

"Looty Dungeon takes what dungeon crawler fans love and spins it into something fun and accessible to everyone," said Henry Fong, CEO, Yodo1. "Deadly traps, vicious monsters, multiple character classes and tons of loot - it's all here and it's going to keep Android gamers busy for hours."

Looty Dungeon is free-to-play with optional microtransactions.

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
