New Details Announced for Victor Vran and The Town of Light

Wired Productions and THQ Nordic announced partnership to bring two new titles to retail.

Publishers Wired Productions and THQ Nordic are thrilled to announce a continuation in their partnership to bring the award-winning action RPG developed by Haemimont Games, Victor Vran, and first-person psychological thriller developed by LKA.it, The Town of Light, to retail. Both titles will feature numerous enhancements following their original digital releases on Windows PC, and will launch for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.

Featuring brand new content and complete with visual enhancements alongside outstanding performance at 60fps, the award-winning isometric action RPG Victor Vran is coming to the PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One and Windows PC as Victor Vran: Overkill Edition. Two new content expansions ring in the Overkill Edition, including the ethereal Fractured Worlds, a challenging and empowering new chapter in the story of Victor Vran, and Motörhead: Through the Ages, a wild, heavy metal adventure inspired by, officially endorsed by and starring the loudest band in the world.

Offering up to four-player online co-op, Victor Vran encourages players to venture and vanquish to their liking as they forge their own personal version of Victor by utilizing a vast array of powerful weapons, game-changing outfits, and wicked, spell-like demon powers. An enhanced edition of the original, this new release of the psychological thriller The Town of Light will offer new puzzles, additional story elements, reworked voiceover dialogue, more interactive elements and a huge graphical and UI overhaul that aims to deliver a more polished and immersive experience for its console debut on the PlayStation®4 system and Xbox One. Existing owners of the digital Windows PC version will receive this update free of charge.

Set in the Volterra Psychiatric Asylum – a former mental treatment facility based in Tuscany, Italy – The Town of Light is based on extensive research and inspired by real facts. Played through the fictional eyes of Renée, a 16-year-old girl who suffers from the symptoms of mental illness, players must search for answers to the many questions from Renée’s past while exploring and uncovering the place where she spent most of her youth. What happens next is a dark and emotional journey where the lines of interactive entertainment, storytelling, and reality frequently tend to blur.
