Call of Duty: Zombies Chronicles Review (PS4)

Activision has released Call of Duty: Zombies Chronicles for PS4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Zombies Chronicles on PS4 allows gamers to revisit all of the classics they loved in beautiful and stunning new detail. The game offers up eight remastered Zombies maps from various titles within the Call of Duty franchise which includes Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The developers have taken the complete maps in all of their beautiful entirety and fully remastered them with HD playability for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

While Call of Duty: Zombies Chronicles is now available on PS4, it will also be made available on Xbox One and PC next month. The DLC is being made available for Call of Duty: Black Ops III with four player cooperative mode and nonstop hordes of undead. In order to get better weapons, traps and perks than players must kill zombies to gain points.

Gamers will be able to enjoy all of the experiences the loved from original maps like the legendary shrine (Shangri-La), the abandoned cinema (Kino Der Toten), a deadly swamp (Shi No Numa), and even an abandoned German excavation site (Origins). Not only have the graphics been overhauled in Call of Duty: Zombies Chronicles, but immense improvements have been made to the game's lighting and audio. The maps now gleam with realism and vibrancy allowing for a much higher degree of immersion. It especially helps that all of the maps have the option of upgrading to modernized features from Black Ops III, like Gobblegum and Perk-a-Colas. There are also some other upgrades throughout the game made to the guns and the Pack-a-Punch machine. However, even if the original maps have the added convenience of features from Black Ops III, they still play very similar to how you originally remember them.

The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...
