Farming Simulator 18 Review (3DS)

Focus Home Interactive and Giants Software have released Farming Simulator 18.

The Farming Simulator franchise has sold over eight million copies and took the crown as the premiere agriculture series for PS Vita and 3DS. Farming Simulator 18 picks up where the series left off with brand new content. The wide array of features added into the new release allows gamers to harvest their lush crops from the palms of their hands.

When I first started BioGamer Girl, I often tried to find games that I could enjoy with my kids. The titles that often appealed to them were games like The Sims, Minecraft, and Farming Simulator. The Farming Simulator series has always managed to attract a wide spectrum of gamers due to its accessibility and sandbox gameplay. My children always found the game easy to pick up and enjoy, but it remained challenging enough for adults to play as well.

My family grew up on a farm so we also appreciated the added realism within Farming Simulator alongside the enjoyment of managing your own virtual farm. Farming Simulator 18 on Nintendo 3DS has some great new content to enjoy that includes woodcutting, new AGCO vehicles and breeding new livestock--such as pigs and sheep. There are also a ton of new crops to harvest that includes sunflowers, sugar beet and potatoes. After the recent passing of my mini-pig, B.B. Pigsby, I really enjoyed the new livestock feature which brought back some fond memories of my own.

Farming Simulator 18 allows anyone to become a farmer with its immersive world full of opportunities and areas to explore. Gamers can expand their farm through forestry and selling their products on the dynamic market. The true-to-life gameplay manages to incorporate everything you would need to be a farmer including over 50 farming vehicles and machines alongside AI assistants to help in your fields.

In the end, Farming Simulator 18 is an engaging simulation that offers deep and immersive gameplay like never before in the series. If you have always wanted to try your hand at virtual farming with vibrant visuals and tight controls, look no further then Farming Simulator 18. Letter Lost: Postmarked Secrets - A cozy post office that hides rules and a deeper mystery. (Demo Preview)

Letter Lost drops you into the Kharnym Isle Post Office as its sole employee, tasked with the deceptively simple work of stamping, sorting, and dispatching the island’s mail. On the surface it’s a cozy workplace sim; polite locals, daily pay, and mandatory room and board that removes the hassle of commuting, but the office’s cheery routine is threaded with odd rules and quiet contradictions that quickly make the ordinary feel off‑kilter. What begins as a satisfying loop of weighing parcels and matching stamps soon becomes a game of attention: letters hide hints, patrons’ small talk slips into unsettling confessions, and management’s insistence that you never leave the premises reads less like policy and more like a warning. The demo covers your first four days on the job, teaching the systems while nudging you toward choices, obey protocol and keep the peace, or pry at the seams and uncover the post office’s darker purpose. Either way, those first shifts are a careful, uncanny invitat...
