Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite combines two story universes while ushering in the next era of the action-fighting game series. As the worlds of Marvel and Capcom collide, players will get the chance to jump into the action packed gameplay like never before.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite has a very intricate single-player and multi-player modes that new and diehard fans can enjoy. The game features a fun single-player Arcade, Training and Mission modes, on top of an immersive Story Mode. The plot for the story mode has gamers facing off against the evil Ultron Sigma.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is a fun crossover series full of action-packed gameplay with over 30 fan-favorite characters to enjoy straight out of the Marvel and Capcom universes. Capcom has also released a Character Pass that gives access to six additional 2017 post-launch characters as they become available which includes Sigma, Black Panther, Monster Hunter, Venom, Winter Soldier and Black Widow. Black Panther and Sigma will join the fight on October 17 with premium costumes.

Players will get to experience a new two-on-two fights with a tag based combo system allowing players to experience the crossover series like never before. The 2D fighting game allows gamers to switch between their team members at any point during the fight and can even tag their partner while being attacked using the Counter Switch mechanic. The colorful animations and environments manage to keep gameplay fresh and exciting while the new game mechanics keep players immersed in combat.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite uses a four attach button scheme with the use of the Infinity Stones gameplay mechanic for unique abilities. There are several game modes to enjoy such as the Training Mode and Mission Mode which adds a great deal of replayability to the game.

  • Reborn Rivalries: Universes collide once again in this all-new crossover clash for the ages, where players select their favorite Marvel and Capcom characters and engage in accessible and free-form 2v2 team battles, which allow for new gameplay dynamics never before seen in the franchise.
  • Infinite Power: Choose one of the six powerful Infinity Stones from the Marvel Universe to influence the outcome of battle. Each Infinity Stone will customize characters with unique abilities and powerful game-changing effects that can quickly turn the tide of battle.
  • Iconic Heroes: Select from a diverse roster of fan-favorite characters pulled from the Marvel and Capcom universes, including Captain Marvel and Iron Man from the Marvel side, and Ryu and Mega Man X from Capcom. The final roster at launch is 30 characters, with more post launch characters to be revealed in the future.
  • Cinematic Story: This thrilling cinematic experience puts players at the center of a fierce battle as heroes from both universes come together to stop Ultron Sigma, the combined form of the robotic villains Ultron and Sigma, from infecting all biological life on the newly-merged Marvel and Capcom worlds. With the future of their universe hanging in the balance, the heroes must seek aid from the Mad Titan Thanos, the most powerful villain in the Marvel Universe… but can they trust him?
