Iron Throne Gets New Update Introducing Improvements and Expansions

Netmarble Corp has announced a new update for the MMO for the Iron Throne.

Netmarble Corporation announced a new update today for Iron Throne, the mobile MMO strategy game. The update is available now and introduces new content, as well as improvements and expansions to existing content.

Coming in this month’s update is The Golden Moon - new, exciting player vs. player content. In the Golden Moon, 20 lords will battle to conquer The Golden Sanctuary within a certain amount of time; those who fail to conquer it will be removed. When The Golden Sanctuaries are occupied, gift boxes designated by the level of each sanctuary will be given as rewards.

Lords with castles of level 20 or higher can enter The Golden Moon at any time. Players can enter The Golden Moon by selecting the menu on the field map, or by clicking on the icon on The Dimensional Portal. When players enter The Golden Moon, they will be moved to a dedicated map for sanctuary battle against other lords. There are a total of nine core buildings called The Golden Sanctuaries.

Additionally, two new heroes have been added to the game to fight for the throne: Infidus and Kenzaburo. Kenzaburo, the leader of the Konoe family, is the grandfather of existing heroine ‘Mokoto Konoe.’ His appearance indicates that the world of Iron Throne has been extended to Japanese civilization.

In addition to two new heroes, two new castle skins are also now available. The Advent Castle and Ice Castle. Players can acquire the Advent Castle by purchasing it with gold. However, the Ice Castle is given as a reward for participation in December’s event, and players can use it for 30 days.

Furthermore, in celebration of the holiday season, special effects and decorations will be applied to the castle and world map, along with two additional holiday lords’ portraits. The decorations will feature snowy weather and holiday decorations. In addition, an event monster appears on the world map and a holiday special login reward is given.

Finally, as a part of the December update, a Battle Royale Championship event will be available. 20 lords who earn the highest score will be selected through qualifiers. The selected lords will compete a Battle Royale Championship to determine which of them is the strongest.

Iron Throne is now available for iOS and Android platforms via Apple App Store and Google Play. For more information on Iron Throne, please visit the website at www.playironthrone.com.
