Breach Now Available On Steam for PC

QC Games has announced that Breach is now available on Steam. Read on.

Calling the brave and the bold! Independent developer QC Games proudly announced today that Breach, their highly refined and innovative co-op action RPG, is now available on Steam. Breach brings together the best elements of MMOs, dungeon crawlers, third person action games and RPGs into a highly refined dungeon brawl experience. With intense and intuitive combat mechanics, ever-changing mission challenges in every fast-paced game session, and the choice of playing as a badass hero or troublemaking Veil Demon, Breach debuts a truly compelling and unique 4v1 online multiplayer experience.

“After three years of game development, the entire dev team truly believes we’ve created something fresh and unique with Breach,” states Dallas Dickinson, CEO and Co-Founder at QC Games. “It was really important that when we entered Early Access, Breach would be both a very refined gameplay experience and something gamers haven’t played before. I’m proud to say we’ve achieved those initial goals and look forward to all the feedback from gamers to make Breach even better.”

It’s nice to have badass magic-using friends in Breach. Players can choose from dozens of hero classes and customize everything to stylize their perfect hero: from magic abilities, gear upgrades and even emotes, there’s a play style for every kind of gamer in Breach. If playing the bad guy sounds more fun, players can also take on the role of the Veil Demon and create havoc for the hero squad! Conjure different traps to slow and damage heroes, summon elite creatures of mythological legend, and take possession of enemy minions including massive boss monsters to directly attack hero characters. Antagonizing heroes as the Veil Demon takes trolling to a whole new level in Breach.

“Just like Hero players, the Veil Demon player has an ever-growing number of classes and customization options. Whether you are playing as a Hero or as a Veil Demon, this co-op dungeon brawl experience will never be the same twice,” states Gabe Amatangelo, Game Director and Chief Creative Officer for QC Games. “Every dungeon crawl is as varied and unique as individual player gameplay styles – and a load of fun to watch! We’ve seen some really epic matches, and can’t wait to watch more!”

70,000 years ago, humanity was on the verge of extinction until a group of Immortals created the Veil, splitting Earth into two realities: one reality that features the Earth we know, and an alternate Earth where mythological creatures thrive. Now the Veil has been shattered and the two worlds are collapsing into each other with catastrophic consequences. Players take control of heroes who have been imbued with “The Spark” to master magical abilities. Travel across the world to iconic locations that have been breached by this mystical parallel Earth and clash against legendary mythological enemies as well as an unexplained malevolent spirit, the Veil Demon.

Breach is now available on Steam Early Access for $24.99. To keep up with the latest information on upcoming features, additional classes and special online events, follow the game on Twitter, ‘Like’ us on Facebook, and visit the official game page at PlayBreach.com.

What begins as a satisfying loop of weighing parcels and matching stamps soon becomes a game of attention: letters hide hints, patrons’ small talk slips into unsettling confessions, and management’s insistence that you never leave the premises reads less like policy and more like a warning. The demo covers your first four days on the job, teaching the systems while nudging you toward choices, obey protocol and keep the peace, or pry at the seams and uncover the post office’s darker purpose. Either way, those first shifts are a careful, uncanny invitat...
