Students Compete in Regional Finals at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center on Saturday, January 19th, 2019

WHAT: DiscoverE’s Future City® Competition – a non-profit educational program that asks middle-school students to imagine, design, and build cities of the future.

  • 20 teams of middle school students from Alabama have created future cities in large tabletop models. They present and defend their cities to judges at the competition.
  • This year’s theme – “Powering Our Future”
  • First-place team receives an all-expense-paid trip to compete in the Future City Competition National Finals in Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C., February 17-19, 2019

WHEN: January 19, 2019 from 7:30am– 5:00pm
