Season 03 Reloaded: Call of Duty Goes Bigger, Wilder, and Slightly More Explosive

April 2 isn’t just another update. It’s a full-blown content detonation across Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone. Season 03 storms in with a massive amount of new maps, modes, weapons, and chaos, making it clear that subtlety is officially off the menu.

If you’ve been waiting for a reason to jump back in, or needed an excuse to cancel your weekend plans, this is it.

Multiplayer: More Maps, More Mayhem, More “One More Match”

Season 03 wastes no time stacking the multiplayer playlist. At launch, players get thrown into brand-new arenas like Beacon and Abyss, alongside the tactical chaos of Mission: Trident. Fan-favorite maps Plaza and Gridlock return, polished up and ready to ruin your K/D ratio all over again.

Mid-season keeps the momentum going. Onsen joins the fight, while Summit and Hacienda return like old rivals who still remember exactly how you play.

Modes are just as stacked. Demolition makes its Black Ops 7 debut, followed by Aim High and Snipers Only for players who prefer precision or pure panic. Mid-season adds Freerun parkour chaos, Heat Wave Havoc, and Freeze Tag, because apparently war now includes playground rules.

New gear raises the stakes. The Ion Core Scorestreak turns the battlefield into a radioactive nightmare, pulsing damage through walls with ruthless efficiency. Ranked Play also returns, daring you to prove your skill where it actually counts.

Zombies: Things Get Dark Then Somehow Worse

Zombies mode pushes both intensity and creativity. The new Ashwood Survival map drops players into the eerie remains of Ashes of the Damned, where waves of undead don’t just attack, they overwhelm. Cursed mode exists for those who want an even harsher challenge.

Paradox Junction introduces Directed Mode for a guided quest experience, while Starting Room mode strips things down to pure survival instincts.

Then comes Zombie Battle, a free-for-all where it’s every survivor for themselves. Cooperation is gone. Completely.

Mid-season introduces Totenreich, ominously described as “the cold place,” which is never a good sign. Legacy weapons also return through the Mystery Box, bringing back fan favorites that players will absolutely risk everything to obtain.

Warzone: Verdansk Evolves and Avalon Enters the Fight

Warzone is evolving in a big way.

Verdansk’s southern hills now feature the massive Launch Pad POI, instantly becoming one of the most dangerous and contested drop zones.

Avalon joins the big map rotation and introduces multiple Gulags into the environment. Surviving once was stressful enough. Now there’s more than one chance to fight your way back.

Modes expand across the board. Hot Pursuit returns, Prop Hunt Royale adds a chaotic twist, and Iron Gauntlet raises the stakes. The Launch Squad limited-time mode challenges players to collect launch codes and survive long enough to escape.

Movement gets a major upgrade with wall jumping and grapple hooks, adding verticality and unpredictability to every encounter. New threats like Cluster Grenades and missile-based public events ensure no match plays out the same way twice.

Weapons, Rewards, and That Sweet Battle Pass Grind

Season 03 introduces six new weapons, including the MK35 ISR Assault Rifle and VST SMG available at launch. Mid-season unlocks expand the arsenal further with a sniper rifle, pistol, special weapon, and even a katana.

Attachments push customization further with underbarrel shotguns, spear guns, and recoil-stabilizing upgrades that dramatically change how weapons perform.

The Battle Pass delivers a wide range of content, including weapon blueprints, operator skins, and finishing moves. The Valkyrie BlackCell Operator stands out, along with additional unlockable characters and a full camo track. More than 80 weapon camos are available throughout the season.

Endgame: Now Free To Play and Fully Tactical

Endgame goes free-to-play for a limited time, opening the experience to a wider audience. Operations introduce structured objectives, beginning with Operation Poison Pill.

New abilities such as the Aether Blade and Warband Skill Track bring fresh tactical depth, while additional abilities arrive later in the season through challenges.

Final Verdict: Controlled Chaos at Its Finest

Season 03 is packed with content across every mode. Multiplayer expands, Zombies intensifies, and Warzone evolves in meaningful ways.

Whether you’re grinding Ranked, surviving waves of undead, or dropping into Verdansk, there’s something here designed to keep you playing longer than you planned.

April 2 is about to get very loud.
