Leading video games publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced that Saban’s Power Rangers Samurai™ will be featured on a float at the 123rd Annual Tournament of Roses® Parade in Pasadena, California on Jan. 2, 2012.  To celebrate the release of Saban’s Power Rangers Samurai videogame on Wii™ and Nintendo DS™, the float will feature the Samurai Power rangers themselves and their mighty Zords, including the Yellow Ape, Blue Dragon, Red Lion and the towering Megazord, which stands at 35 feet. The float embodies the spirit of teamwork and friendship that is central to the hugely popular Power Rangers Brand.

The float contains a platform, which will hold all six of the beloved Power Rangers Samurai characters and will be surrounded by their mighty Zords all decorated using carefully chosen floral arrangements.  The entire float culminates in the giant MegaZord, a colossal robotic samurai that is formed when all six Power Rangers combine their Zords and powers.

“The Power Rangers have always provided an exciting and action-packed adventure for kids of all ages, which is why it’s an honor to have them take part in the Tournament of Roses Parade, for kids all over the world to enjoy,” said Carlson Choi, Vice President of Marketing at NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.  “We’re happy to honor the spirit of teamwork and friendship with a wonderful float that celebrates this group of heroes.”
