5. Bayonetta (Bayonetta – Voiced by Hellena Schmied) Bayonetta is a mysterious Umbra Witch who fights to learn the truths of her past. She uses her superhuman strength and endurance to battle her opponents. Bayonetta comes off as callous in her pursuit of finding the truth about herself―but by the end you see that even with a hardened shell―she still has the ability to care for those around her.
4. Anya Stroud (Gears of War series – Voiced by Nan McNamara) Anya is the operations center that is in charge of dispatching the Delta Squad. She is the daughter of a celebrated war-hero and has to deal with the stress of trying to fill the large expectations placed upon her. Anya is an important part of Gears of War―she details information to the squad by radio of where to go next or if hostiles are en route. She not only shows her ability to perform as a frontline solider but also her compassion for others in the field.
3. Yuna (Final Fantasy X-2 – Voiced by Hedy Buress) Yuna is a powerful summoner who uses her abilities in Final Fantasy X-2 to uncover a mystery that involves a movie sphere of her lost love. Yuna uses her abilities to help others and has a strong conviction to do what she feels is right. Yuna has suffered from the hands of those she has trusted and uses that pain for the greater good. She not only is freed from her former summoner abilities but has gained an entirely new outlook on life.
2. Sheva Alomar (Resident Evil 5 – Voiced by Karen Dyer) Sheva is an agent for the B.S.A.A. in West Africa. She uses her strength and fighting skills to assist Chris Redfield in his missions throughout Kijuju to apprehend a Bio-weapons dealer named Ricardo Irving. Chris is able to survive the hostile environments of Africa with Sheva’s ability to think quickly on her feet.
1. Eleanor Lamb (BioShock 2 – Voiced by Sara Bolger) Eleanor was the daughter of Sofia Lamb and a former Little Sister. Eleanor endures continous suffering from the multiple experiments performed on her. She uses her abilities and brains to control the little sisters in order to resurrect Subject Delta―almost ten years after his death. Eleanor is able to escape the tortures of her mother through Subject Delta’s aid. Although she has been tortured by those who should have cared most for her―Eleanor still feels the ability to help those around her and even has compassion for those who have done her wrong.
