The Biggest PlayStation Releases for September

Summer is finally coming to an end, and that’s good news for gamers. The Summer Box Office has had its time in the spotlight with plenty of great new films to see during its span such as Marvel’s The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, but now, the weather is cooling off, and it’s time for video games to take center stage. Plenty of great games are scheduled throughout the remainder of the year, but today, we’re going to focus on the September releases for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. This month will see the release of many wonderful titles, but here are the five Biggest PlayStation Releases for September!

5. FIFA Soccer 13
FIFA Soccer 13 may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but there’s no denying the game is a global juggernaut. The best selling soccer title is back again in 2013 from developer and publisher EA Sports boasting new improvements and gameplay changing enhancements such as 1st Touch Control that allows for more realistic ball control and more opportunities to play the ball defensively, Attacking Intelligence that makes AI controlled players smarter in order to react to plays as they happen, Complete Dribbling to allow players total control of movement with the ball and much more. FIFA Soccer 13 will look to revolutionize the way you play the sport with a new title that is sure to keep it the best soccer game around. Sorry Pro Evolution Soccer.

4. Borderlands 2
Developer Gearbox Software is almost ready to ship out one of the biggest sequels the gaming world has ever seen with Borderlands 2. The new title will have us return to the world of Pandora years after the events of the original game. A new antagonist named Handsome Jack has emerged claiming to be responsible for the opening of the vault and the savior of the planet. A new group of heroes will journey through the game each with their own unique skill tress and abilities that will change the way you play the game. Of course, there will be numerous other changes made to the classic game mechanics, a plethora of new guns, plenty of new baddies to blast away, improved vehicles, the return of ClapTrap and the original game’s characters in cameos and so much more. This game is going to be great, so check it out when it releases in just a couple of weeks and stay on the lookout for a fifth character called the Mechromancer as post launch DLC!

3. NHL 13
Developer and publisher EA Sports has done it again with NHL 13. The hockey giant manages to release a fantastic new title every year that is significantly better than the last, and this year’s version is no different. The new game will include numerous improvements including the all new True Performance Skating for the most realistic and best control you’ve ever had over your skaters on the ice, Hockey IQ that produces AI that quickly reacts to situations to play better defense and offense while playing on or off the puck and plenty of new goalie animations that allow you to block shots and protect the net like never before, and that’s just the gameplay enhancements! NHL 13 also has improved game modes, female players and legends, new ways to play and more. Make sure you check out this new title when it releases later this month.

2. LittleBigPlanet
Finally, the PlayStation Vita receives another great title with the long awaited LittleBigPlanet for PlayStation Vita. The new title reimagines the LittleBigPlanet world by transporting you to a place known as Carnivalia. The once great world has since been taken over by the dreaded puppeteer, who has turned the world into a bleak and terrifying version of its former self. It will be up to Sackboy to stop the puppeteer and save the world of Carnivalia, and of course, the game will feature plenty of great LittleBigPlanet platforming action and creation tools the series has been known for over the years. The PlayStation Vita exclusive will also boast some fantastic uses of the PlayStation Vita‘s technology to produce one of a kind gameplay you can only find on the handheld system. 1. Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Namco Bandai‘s new fighter Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is on many people’s must play list and for good reason. The game will be one of the best September has to offer for sure thanks to many great new features added to the game’s highly successful formula including online play for up to four different players, the all new Fight Lab that allows fighters to be fully customized from their looks to their moves, a massive roster featuring over 50 characters, new stages with environmental effects and more. You’ll also want to be sure you preorder the game to receive the numerous preorder incentives the game has to offer including the Big Bikini Bundle, up to four bonus characters, the official Snoop Dogg themed stage and so much more.
