Developer BioWare and publisher EA have announced the first expansion for their hit PC title Star Wars: The Old Republic. Rise of the Hutt Cartel will send players to the the dual faction planet of Makeb where new allies will be introduced, battles will commence against fresh new foes and new technology will be discovered and implemented with your character all in the name of stopping the Hutt Cartel once and for all. Rise of the Hutt Cartel is now available for preorder for $9.99, which is 50% off the original price, for Star Wars: The Old Republic subscribers, or the content can be pre-purchased by free-to-play players for $19.99.
