Pacific Rim Mobile Game Now Available for iOS and Android

Reliance Games has announced that the Pacific Rim Mobile Game is now available for iOS and Android for $4.99. Players will be able to pilot weaponized robots called Jaegers in a story mode based off the Pacific Rim movie (read our review here).

Reliance Games, a leading international developer and publisher of mobile games, today asks gamers to pilot a giant Jaeger robot and defend Earth from invading aliens with the release of Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures Pacific Rim for iOS and Android. Developed in partnership with Behavior Interactive and based on the film by Guillermo del Toro, coming to theaters July 12, 2013, the Pacific Rim mobile game features epic battles amidst skyscrapers as players swipe and tap to defeat the Kaijus, aliens that have risen from the sea to wipe out humanity.

Piloting weaponized robots known as Jaegers, Earth’s defenders must train their jockeys from rookie to ace in a Story Mode based on the movie, or challenge themselves to last as long as they can against waves of aliens in Survival Mode. To aid in the apocalyptic fight to save humanity, new weapons, technology and devastating combos can be unlocked, as well as different Jaegers.

Pacific Rim features:

  • Story Mode: Play over 30 levels and challenge monstrous creatures in intense combat based on the motion picture. Complete bonus objectives to earn more experience.
  • Survival Mode: Can you defend humanity from an endless wave of Kaijus? See how skilled you are with your customized Jaeger.
  • Command five different Jaegers with custom equipment and technology taken from the epic sci-fi movie.
  • Swipe to pack devastating punches to pummel Kaijus. Tap to evade and block. The right timing is key to building awesome combos!
