New Xbox LIVE Rewards Program Offers Gamers Savings Based on Gamerscore

Microsoft has announced the return of the revamped Xbox LIVE Rewards program. The redesigned promotion still offers rewards for gamers that sign-up for the program and complete specific rewards, but now Xbox LIVE gamers can earn a percentage back on purchases in the Xbox Store based on Gamerscore. This percentage bonus only allows players to receive up to 3% savings back, but the cash back will add up quickly for gamers that spend a lot of cash on DLC and downloadable games.

Some of the new ways Xbox LIVE gamers can earn the all new Rewards Credits include earning 250 Credits for completing a monthly survey, renewing an Xbox LIVE Gold membership is worth up to 3,000 Credits and completing Punch Cards for performing actions such as purchasing films from the Xbox Store, spending cash in Xbox LIVE Apps or purchasing map packs and other DLC over Xbox LIVE, and these punchcards can be worth up to 5,000 Credits.

Once at least 5,000 Credits are earned by an Xbox LIVE Rewards member, they can then be transferred to dollars for the Xbox LIVE Gold account associated with the account. Credits are equal to one cent per credit, so for example, completing the monthly survey for the program will earn $0.25 in credits each month. Microsoft and Xbox LIVE continue to offer more sales on digital content and ways for games to save and unlock new content for great prices, and we can't wait to see how the new commitment to these player rewards continue with the release of Xbox One on November 22!

For more details or to sign-up for the new program, check out the official Xbox LIVE Rewards website.

What begins as a satisfying loop of weighing parcels and matching stamps soon becomes a game of attention: letters hide hints, patrons’ small talk slips into unsettling confessions, and management’s insistence that you never leave the premises reads less like policy and more like a warning. The demo covers your first four days on the job, teaching the systems while nudging you toward choices, obey protocol and keep the peace, or pry at the seams and uncover the post office’s darker purpose. Either way, those first shifts are a careful, uncanny invitat...
