Strider is a Capcom series that dates all the way back to the late 80s arcade scene. Older gamers will have undoubtedly heard of the long running series before and maybe even played a few titles from the franchise along the way including releases for the SEGA Megadrive, PlayStation and PC releases. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is the final release in the heralded action series from developer MercurySteam. The release takes players to a new setting for the franchise and allows players to see the world from a different view, as Dracula is the game's main protagonist for the first time ever. The change allows for players to experience the world with a variety of powerful new moves and weapons, though the game isn't always exciting as it could have been. Stealth sections included in the new release feel dramatically out of place, and the sections simply aren't fun to play either. The game also manages to introduce only a few interesting characters for the series that don't do a good job of carrying the storyline through the 10-20 hour length campaign.
