Dreadnought Review (PS4)


Grey Box has released Dreadnought on PS4 with a ton of new features and updates.

Dreadnought from Grey Box and YAGER is a free-to-play, team-based spaceship combat game that officially launched on PlayStation 4 on December 5th. Dreadnought was in the beta phase since earlier in the summer on the PS4 , and has saw a slew of updates and content added to the overall experience since that time. When the game launched, players have access to over 50 ships that span over five different classes specializing in such tactical roles as frontline assault, long-range bombardment, strategic support and more. The game also saw the release of several multiplayer modes which includes the PS4-exclusive co-op mode, Havoc. Dreadnought also released with a wide array of maps, weapons, modules, coatings and decals to truly deck out your ship.

Dreadnought is a game that puts players into the command of huge capital ships where they will experience tactical, team-based warfare while in space across several planets. You are a mercenary captain with a simple plan which is to build up your fierce reputation while reaping the rewards of your conquests.

Dreadnought allows you to customize every ship in great detail in order to reflect your own individual play style. Gamers are armed to the teeth with fierce weapons to help your teammates and yourself claim victory against the opposing teams. You can select a class specific modules to help boost the power of your ship and your crew. The ability to customize so many aspects of the game really adds a great depth of replayability and fun to the overall game.

When the game officially launched on December 5th, players also got a ton of features that included voice chat, aim-assist functionality, trophies, bonus tweaks and more. As the game continues to expand, Dreadnought will offer an even more immersive experience with each new update.
