If you have ever played a fishing simulator, then you know that many of those don't quite catch the realism of the experience. However, Dovetail Games has managed to create an authentic fishing simulator full of adventure and fun.

In
Fishing Sim World your angling skills are tested to the extreme as you make your way out to Florida, upstate New York and five unique European locations to explore various bass lakes. Every new location has its own unique challenges which adds a high degree of immersion to the game's overall simulation experience. 




One of the elements of realism in Fishing Sim World is the huge variety in fish and equipment. There is over eighteen different species of fish with hundreds of licensed tackle to choose from. To add even more replayability to the game, Fishing Sim World allows you to embrace your competitive spirit with live tournaments against real opponents from all around the globe. If you are looking for something more simple, players can join four friends in the game's multiplayer mode where you can compare fish and climb the leaderboards.

Fishing Sim World has several locations where you can utilize freedom fishing such as Lake Boulder, Lake Johnson, and the Grand Union Canal. There are some fantastic spots to set up you rods to catch some great fish in these locations. The game contains three licensed venues (Gigantica, Manor Farm and Grand Union Canal) alongside venues over 2000 acres in the US to explore. Gamers will gain tackle points as they play and these points can be used to buy rods, reels, lure and line.
