More than a mount, the Grand Tortugar functions as a mobile command platform. Survivors can:

- Open its armored carapace to deploy a roaming base
- Seal it shut to transform into a near-impenetrable defensive bastion

The fight introduces dynamic combat mechanics. Severing individual heads alters attack patterns and pacing, forcing coordinated teamwork and sustained firepower. The encounter is structured to punish disorganized groups while rewarding synchronized strategy and resource management.
