Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo 2026 Returns for Its Biggest Year Yet

Huntsville, Alabama is preparing for one of the state’s biggest celebrations of geek culture as the Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo returns April 17–19, 2026. Now entering its 11th year, the fan-favorite convention will once again take over the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville, bringing together thousands of fans for a three-day event dedicated to comics, movies, television, anime, gaming, cosplay, and more.

Known as Alabama’s largest celebration of all things geek, the Expo continues to grow each year, expanding its footprint throughout the Von Braun Center with additional ballrooms and event spaces. The expanded layout allows for a larger show floor, more panels, and plenty of room for the massive crowds that attend annually.

A Star-Studded Guest Lineup

The 2026 Expo features an impressive roster of celebrity guests from across television, film, animation, and gaming. Fans will have the opportunity to meet stars such as Zachary Levi, Ron Perlman, LeVar Burton, Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Ming-Na Wen, and Wil Wheaton, along with dozens of other actors, voice actors, and creators.

Additional appearances include fan favorites like Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, Scott Weinger, Amy Jo Johnson, Catherine Sutherland, and David Howard Thornton. Voice acting legends including Steve Blum, Phil LaMarr, Grey DeLisle, Ashley Eckstein, Matt Lanter, Kyle Hebert, and Bill Farmer will also be attending, offering fans a chance to connect with the voices behind many beloved characters.

Guests will host discussion panels and meet fans at their tables throughout the weekend. Autographs, selfies, and professional photo opportunities will be available, with pricing determined individually by each guest.

Vendors, Cosplay, Gaming, and More

Beyond the celebrity appearances, the Expo offers an enormous amount of activities for attendees. The event will feature:

  • 200+ vendors selling comics, collectibles, toys, artwork, and pop culture merchandise
  • Artists and Authors Alley showcasing talented creators and independent publishers
  • Cosplay contests where fans can show off their incredible costumes
  • A gaming room for tabletop and video game enthusiasts
  • Panels and discussions covering fandom topics, storytelling, and behind-the-scenes insights

From comic collectors to anime fans and gamers, the Expo is designed to celebrate every corner of pop culture in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

A Convention That Gives Back

While the Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo is known for its entertainment, the event also places a strong focus on community support. Since 2021, the convention has hosted an on-site blood drive in partnership with LifeSouth, encouraging attendees to help save lives while attending the event.

In addition, a portion of the Expo’s proceeds each year benefits Kids to Love, a North Alabama charity dedicated to supporting local foster children.
