Modern Warfare 4 Beta Enters Weekend 2: Resurgence Mode & New 'Zodiac' Map Arrive

 

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Beta is ramping up for its second weekend, bringing a heavy dose of fresh content to keep players locked in. Starting this Friday, the fan-favorite Resurgence mode officially enters the Beta rotation, offering fast-paced, high-stakes combat where respawns stay active as long as your squadmates survive.

​Alongside Resurgence, players will get their first hands-on experience with Zodiac, a brand-new map making its playable debut. Activison released a quick teaser trailer highlighting Zodiac's tight sightlines and dynamic urban layout, teasing intense close-quarters firefights across its central courtyards.

​Key Beta Details & Dates

  • ​Beta Availability: Open to ALL players across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2 (no pre-order required).
  • ​Schedule: Starts Friday morning and runs continuously through Monday, September 1.
  • ​Preload Window: Preloading goes live tomorrow, allowing you to get the install finished early so you're ready to drop in the second servers open.
